NSS does not store any credit card information it may receive in regard to a specific transaction and/or billing arrangement except as is necessary to complete and satisfy its rights and obligations with regard to such transaction, billing arrangement, and/or as otherwise authorised by a Member (as that term is defined in the Terms of Use).

Other Information: NSS will have access to and may use other information, such as number of users, traffic patterns and demand for the service, to monitor server and software performance as well as for our other internal purposes.  NSS may also collect information about the App’s interaction with users while they are logged in.  This information is owned by NSS and may be used to verify actions taken by a User (as that term is defined in the Terms of Use) or to better understand the behaviours of Users or Members in order to improve the App.
  9. Information Sharing and Disclosure: Information collected through our App that does not identify users (cleansed data) is owned by NSS and may be disclosed by NSS.  We may share aggregated demographic information about our user base with our affiliates, partners and advertisers.
  10. At your request, we may share your personal data with your representatives or any person acting on your behalf (for example, lawyer, executors, administrators, trustees or auditors).
  11. We operate our business in New Zealand and may need to share some of the Personal Information we collect about you with organisations both inside and outside of New Zealand.  Sometimes we may need to ask you before this happens.

  15. Malware/Spyware/Viruses: Neither NSS nor the App knowingly permit the use of malware, spyware, viruses, and/or other similar types of software.

Links to External Sites: Our App may contain links to a variety of Third Party Sites (as defined in the Terms of Use).  Some of these links may request or record information from Users or use cookies or other methods to collect information from you.  We have no control over, and are not responsible for the content or privacy policy practices of those Third Party Sites and encourage our users to review the privacy policies of those sites before engaging in any activity with them.  . NSS is also not responsible for any information that you might share with such Third Party Sites.
  17. Opting in and opting out: The App may provide you the opportunity to opt-in to receive communications from us at the point where we request information from you. You always have the option of removing your name from any e-mail list in order to discontinue any such future communications. In order to ensure immediate removal from any list, please follow the specific instructions set out in the communications you receive from NSS which you no longer wish to receive. If you are unsuccessful in completing the instructions specified in any such communication, please e-mail us at, including a copy of the undesired email attached to the request, and state you wish to be removed from the mailing list.
  18. Business Transactions: If the ownership of NSS changes, your Member Information may be transferred to the new owner so that the App can continue to operate.  In this event, your information will remain subject to this Privacy Policy.
  19. Sending information offshore:  Personal Information being sent offshore will be subject to comparable privacy safeguards as those that apply in New Zealand.  If NSS is required to disclose information to a foreign person or entity, NSS will either:
  • a.  Be reasonably satisfied that the foreign person or entity is subject to laws which provide comparable safeguards as the Privacy Act 2020 (Act), or agrees to be bound by comparable safeguards as those found in the Act; or

Our App and various information we collect are operated on servers located in various jurisdictions, including the United States. When you access or use the App and/or our Services, personal information about you may be transferred and stored outside of New Zealand.
